Schiff

Schiff had band practice earlier. It was supposed to start at 4 PM, but things happened, some people were late, and we ended up starting at around quarter to 6. To top off the bad luck, my Metal Zone effects pedal ran out of battery just before we started, so I had to stick to the [crappy] distortion (if it could even be called that, lol) of the amp that I was using. Sigh~

We ran through all of our songs, though, which was fun. We spent most of our time fine tuning our first composition. We tried lots of things for the various parts of the song, but by the end of the practice, we only decided to keep the intro. Haha.

Practice ended at around 9:30 PM or so. Chino, Janrey and I went to McDonald's to eat dinner, while Niel and Ekong went home because of family obligations. Got back home at around 10:30 PM. It was pretty tiring, but it was still fun.

I need to practice my guitars a bit more; I've been focusing on some of my old techniques (which "atrophied" away due to lack of use... it has been a while, after all) and I think I'm getting my groove back. Can't wait.
