Mangaholix

I went with Cat yesterday to the Mangaholix convention. It was the first time I got to go with someone there so I knew it wasn't going to be the usual drop by-walk around-leave thing.

She met a lot of her friends and introduced me to them. They were all pretty perky and friendly, it was cool. Seeing Cat being so lively and animated was nice.

(It is at this point that I realize that I cannot remember any names, except a few T_T I just remember faces and attitudes.)

We walked around the convention and chatted (pretty much her, though, heh) with her friends. Later on, we decided to hang out in Starbucks because there was nothing else to do. I think we walked around the whole Mall of Asia since the first Starbucks we went to didn't have indoor seats. We headed to the other Starbucks, by the main entrance, then.

The place was packed when we got there so we had to wait a while. If I could perfectly emulate Cat's plzgivemeicecream look, I think I would have done that to those who were sitting down on the seats but did not buy any coffee. Hahaha. When we sat down, we snuggled and talked for about an hour or so (didn't really check / care about the time...).

When we were heading back to the convention, we bumped into Cat's usual group of friends (Nana cosplay group + assorted cosplayers and friends) at Pizza Hut. We weren't feeling hungry then since we just drank coffee (if that made any sense - but both of us felt the same way LOL) so we just hung out with them.

They passed around Cosmode and Neo Genesis magazines and talked about their favorite bands. Later that night, when Cat and I talked about the day, we saw how different men and women talk about their favorite things.

Girl: [Guitarist] of [Band A] is so hot! I swooned when he kissed [Bassist] on the cheek during their concert.
Boy: [Guitarist]'s new guitar seriously owns. I want one.

Girl: [Vocalist] of [Band A] wore a [cute outfit] during this photoshoot! *squeal*
Boy: You guys heard [song] yet? The arrangement was amazing. We should jam this.

Well, at least that was what was running through my head while Cat was talking to Nana, Shin and Hachi (cosplay names, since I can't remember their real names, sorry). Haha, but it was nice to see Cat in her element. I hope they didn't think I was feeling left out or something. I'm cool with just watching them do their thing while I'm with Cat.

I was thinking about the outfits that I saw in the Neo Genesis magazine, though. They had Alice Nine and a bunch of other bands there, with pictures. The clothes were really nice. It was also the time I learned what a jabot was really called (previously called it tissue LOL) and how it was worn (thought it was worn from the inside, like tissue during a meal LOL). If I had clothes like that, I'd probably wear them everyday. Hahaha.
